Nathan is new man at the helm

Nathan Collins takes over the reins at Tattershall Road

Boston Town are pleased to welcome Nathan Collins back to the club as their new manager.

He will take over for the first time against Yaxley on Tuesday (5 November). Lori Borbely and Ollie Pinner will  be in charge for Saturday's visit to Wellingborough.

Collins will be assisted by Andrew Liddell.

They take over from Ian Dunn and Matt Hocking, who parted company with the Poachers yesterday by mutual consent.

Chairman Mick Vines still believes Town will finish in mid-table despite their current position second from bottom of the United Counties League.

Collins returns to the club after making more than 100 appearances for Boston Town. Since retiring as a tough-tackling midfielder, he has been a youth team coach at Grimsby Town.

Mr Vines also thanked Dunn and Hocking for their hard work at Tattershall Road and said he expected them to be successful in management in the future.

Their departure was hastened by Boston's humbling 12-0 defeat aginast Spalding on Tuesday.
