FA Cup preview

Poachers are underdogs against King's Lynn

The odds are stacked against Boston Town as they travel to Evo-Stik Premier high-fliers King's Lynn in the FA Cup.

Not only are the Linnets two divisions above them but history is also against the United Counties League side.

The Poachers have won two ties so far in this season's FA Cup - against Walsham Le Willows and Holbeach United.

Only twice in their 50-year history have they EVER won more than that in a single season. The first time was their famous FA Cup run of 1976 which ended at Barnsley in the 1st Round Proper. Three years later, the Poachers made it to the 4th Qualifying Round before losing to AP Leamington.
