Crazy fixture list

Poachers finally get to play in front of their own fans

Boston Town's crazy run of away days is coming to an end at long last.

Following their Lincs Senior Trophy trip to Holbeach on Wednesday (15 October), Boston finally have a sequence of home games.

Twelve of their first 15 fixtures this season have been away. Add to that the three away games they finished with last term and that means they will have played an astonishing 15 away games out of 18 since the start of April.

Club officials are understandably frustrated by the double whammy of lack of income through the turnstiles at the DWB Stadium and the cost of away travel.

The upcoming games give Dan Barrett's team a good opportunity to move up the United Counties League as they are nearly all against teams around them in the table.

They now face a double-header against Northampton Sileby Rangers after a change to their November fixtures.

Their game on Saturday 1 November has been switched as Huntingdon are involved in the FA Vase on that day.

After the county cup tie, Town's schedule up to the end of November is as follows:

Sat 18 Oct, 3pm - Eynesbury Rovers H
Sat 25 Oct, 3pm - Northampton Sileby Rangers A
Sat 1 Nov, 3pm - Northampton Sileby Rangers H
Sat 8 Nov, 3pm - Harrowby United H
Tues 11 Nov, 7.45pm - Sleaford Town H
Sat 15 Nov, 3pm - Newport Pagnell Town H
Sat 22 Nov, 3pm - Thurnby Nirvana H
