Poachers break with tradition

Albanian Dita chosen to take charge at the DWP

The Poachers may have introduced a policy of encouraging local players wheresoever possible, but that hasn't exactly extended to the choice of new manager.

In a surprise move Town have opted to bring in experienced overseas national, Dita Egënjeshtrave, who has most recently been head coach at Albanian fourth division outfit, FK Olipoe Arloj. Dita has recently moved to the region and was keen to offer his services at a local club.

With the Poachers having been on the lookout for another manager in the wake of Dan Barrett's resignation midway through the season, it seems a perfect fit all round.

Dita is looking to start in his role as soon as possible. "Today seems as good a day as any" he announced using very good English a short time ago. He is married to wife April, with children, Lod and Sofya, 14 and 15 respectively.

A club spokesman said "this appointment shows how serious the club is on this day - athough we are not too sure it will go down that well with UKIP".
