The Poachers finally ended their winless streak thanks to goals by Alex Beck, Renzie Lobendhan and Gary Cross.

Beck ended his own barren run by netting after 13 minutes - his first since August.

When new signing Renzie Lobendhan scored on the half-hour mark, Boston were seemingly in control at 2-0 for the second week running.

However, Sileby pulled one back before the interval to resurrect fears of a repeat of the defensive capitulation which had cost the Poachers last week against Eynesbury.

Gary Cross made it 3-1 on his debut with 13 minutes to go and although Rangers reduced their deficit once more, the visitors were able to hang on to a precious three points that lift them four palces up the table.

Sileby are at the DWB Stadium on Saturday (1 November) for the reverse fixture.

Town: Ashton, Warren, Jackson, Mitchell, Ashton, Lowe, Clancy (Madigan), Borbely, Beck, Lobendhan (Drury), Cross
