Poachers coast to second successive win

Goals by new boys Renzie Lobendhan and Gary Cross helped Town ease to victory over Sileby for the second Saturday in a row.

Fit-again Alex Beck (pictured) was also on the scoresheet again as Dan Barrett's new-look side moved closer to mid-table.

Lobendhan and Cross got an early goal each before Beck put the hosts 3-0 up before the interval. Sileby must be sick of the sight of those three, who were the same scorers in Town's 3-2 away victory in the reverse fixture last week.

The DWB Stadium fans saw Lobendhan double his tally in the second half, making it three goals in three games so far for his new club.

The only disappointment for manager Baz will be that a late Sileby penalty denied the Poachers what would have been their first clean sheet since August.

Remarkably, it was Boston's first home win since February.

Town: H Ashton, Lowe, Jackson, Borbely, Wood, S Ashton, Cross (Clancy), Playford, Beck, Lobendhan, Wightwick.
