Hat-trick hero Jordan Nuttell inspires Town victory

Boston Town 4, Yaxley 0

A rampant Boston Town made a mockery of their lowly league position with this thumping win over Yaxley.

Jordan Nuttell fired his first hat-trick for the club as Jason Callaby's side made it three wins and a draw in their last four league games.

The Poachers got off to what has become their customary flying start, with Nuttell netting twice in the opening eight minutes.

The youngster then made it 3-0 after 53 minutes - becoming the second Town player to score a hat-trick this season after Jack Wightwick, who notched three at Peterborough Northern Star in August. That's 11 goals in all this season for Nuttell, who's following in the footsteps of dad Micky and uncle Derrick.

Fraser Bayliss helped himself to a fourth after 61 minutes - and there could have been further goals but for one effort being disallowed and two stupendous late saves.

Callaby will also be delighted that Town held on for rare clean sheet.
