Poachers suffer narrow defeat in last away fixture

Joint manager Ian Dunn felt Boston Town were unlucky to leave their final away game of the season empty-handed.

The Poachers lost 1-0 at high-flying Huntingdon Town.

Dunn said: "I felt it was a good even game and we at least deserved a draw. We didn't take our chances though and paid for it."

Loanee Ryan Leggett made a welcome return to Boston Town colours and there was another familiar name in the Poachers side - Jack Smith. However, it was not the return of the defender who left last year for Holbeach but a different player entirely - a newly-signed striker who happens to share the same name,

Town: Ashton, Leggett, Pinner, Foster (Stocks), Hocking, Wilson, Clancy (Dunn), Borbely, Smith, Ford, Heward.
