Poachers pick up first league win of the season

Boston Town 5, Harborough 1

The season starts here!

That was the message from a rampant Boston Town as they crushed bottom markers Harborough.

Jordan Nuttell settled any nerves in this basement clash by putting the hosts ahead after five minutes, with Josh Ford converting from the penalty spot to double their lead after a quarter of an hour.

Harborough pulled one back before the interval but the Poachers showed their class after the break.

Lori Borbely also got onto the scoresheet early in the second half and Nuttell and Ford then both doubled their personal tally to complete the 5-1 win.

The victory moves Boston three places up the league and already puts them within easy reach of mid-table.

Home fans must be wondering what all the crisis talk was about - in their last two games at Tattershall Road they've now seen the Poachers win twice 6-0 and 5-1!
