Boston Town pulled off thir best FA Cup win for 41 years to stun Northern Premier League outfit Hednesford Town.

There was a whiff of something magical in the air as soon as Fraser Bayliss set the Poachers on their way with a goal after six minutes.

Man of the match Simon Ashton then doubled the home side's lead after 26 minutes.

Hednesford - who beat Boston United 3-0 in a pre-season friendly jsut a few weeks ago - tried to mount a second-half comeback but Gary Frost's side held firm to ensure the DWB Stadium would witness its biggest FA Cup victory since Bangor City were knocked out in 1976.
