DWB Stadium, Tattershall Road, Boston
Suddenly, Boston Town don't want the season to end.
They continued their sizzling form as they brushed aside the challenge of a Desborough team who were also full of confidence after three consecutive wins.
Dennis Greene's reinvigorated side were on the front foot from the off and it was no surprise when Cameron Johnson maintained his hot streak to put them ahead after 28 minutes.
It was no more than the hosts deserved after creating a hatful of chances.
But Desborough levelled against the run of play right on half-time.
In the past, the Poachers might have folded after that morale-sapping blow - but this team are made of sterner stuff.
They rolled up their sleeves and went back in front soon after the restart thanks to on-loan Doncaster Rovers youngster Lewis Scattergood.
Fraser Bayliss notched his eighth goal of the season 10 minutes later to put the home side in the comfort zone.
And Johnson made sure the majority of the DWB Stadium crowd went home happy after making it 4-1 in the dying moments.
That's EIGHT goals he's now scored in just five appearances in the space of 18 days - a remarkable turnaround when you consider the entire team had failed to score in any of their previous four matches.
