Fraser Bayliss scored a screamer to set Boston Town on their way to a hard-fought point.

The visitors, missing eight regulars, had trailed 2-0 at the break to a Cooks side who had won their previous five matches.

But after Bayliss's 56th minute goal, it was the returning Harrison Holland to snatched a draw 17 minutes later.

Cogenhoe's Paul Jackson was full of praise before the game for the way the Poachers have revived their season.

He said: "Manager Gary Edgley must take a lot of credit for turning the Lincolnshire club’s fortunes around as he has rebuilt the club after former manager Dennis Greene left them struggling at the bottom after a horrendous start to the campaign and having lost his predecessor’s generous budget.

"It took a while to achieve, but he has done a magnificent job in turning them from relegation favourites to a side that could be pushing for honours next season if he can keep this upward trajectory going."

Town: Portas, McCartney, Borbely, Fosu, Watkins, Cunliffe, Horton, Potts, Tunstall, Holland, Bayliss; subs: Fenton, Karov, Raducan
