Basement battle hotting up

The Poachers face an important few weeks in which they have crunch games against relegation rivals.

The basement battle is hotting up, with Kirby Muxloe now deep in trouble after suffering an 11th straight loss last night against leaders Daventry Town.

Two of Boston Town's next four fixtures are against other sides in the bottom five.

After this weekend's home game against eighth-placed Leicester Nirvana, they travel to Northampton ON Chenecks on Saturday 26 January.

Chenecks have given themselves some breathing space after winning two games on the bounce - but Gary Edgley's team could drag them back into the mix with a victory next week.

And on Saturday 9 February, the Poachers are away to bottom markers Wellingborough Whitworth.

Kick-off this Saturday at the DWB Stadium against Nirvana is 3pm, when Boston will be looking to make it back-to-back home wins for the first time this season.
