Poachers blown off course
A below-strength Boston Town side came unstuck at in-form Deeping Rangers.
With seven players missing, Gary Edgley had to field a makeshift defence.
Playing into the teeth of a fierce gale in the first half, the Poachers found themselves 3-0 down at the break.
A disputed fourth soon after the re-start seemed to seal the points for the hosts.
But Town, captained for the night by Corey Cunliffe, stuck to their task and pulled a goal back through Jordan Tate.
He pounced on a rebound to notch his third in as many games after a fine save had denied Robert Raducan.
Deeping also had Henry Dunn sent off late on for kicking out off the ball and the visitors came close to a second when they hit the bar from a Harrison Holland corner.
Town: Portas, Lytvynets, Tate, Pinner, Cunliffe, Yenibertiz, Horton, Borbely (Holland), Raducan, Nichols (Deane), Fenton (Geglis)
