Gary Edgley returns to Poachers

Boston Town have appointed Gary Edgley as manager.

He was previously coach at the club and already has a great rapport with fans and players.

Edgley was part of Gary Frost's management team who steered the Poachers to record-breaking FA Cup success last season.

Lori Borbely will be in charge of the team for Saturday's tough trip to United Counties League new boys Rugby Town before Edgley takes over as manager next week.

Chairman Mick Vines said he knew Edgley well and he was looking for some positive results from the team over the next six to eight weeks.

He added that he expected the current players to remain at the DWB Stadium despite Dennis Greene's departure.

Craig Parker and Danny Maddison have also bolstered the squad by re-joining.
