Harry Deane joins Boston Town
Boston Town boss Gary Edgley has added former Grimsby Town winger Harry Deane to his squad.
The 26-year-old started his career as a schoolboy at Lincoln City before moving to the Mariners.
Deane was part of Grimsby Town's first team squad in League Two under Mike Newell and Neil Woods but then switched to Boston United. He made several appearances for the Pilgrims in the Blue Square North alongside the likes of Spencer Weir-Daley, Lee Canoville and Jason Lee.
Since then he has played for Spalding United, Stamford and Deeping Rangers.
The Poachers have a blank weekend coming up, with Deane set to make his debut in the crunch home game against fellow strugglers Wellingborough Whitworth on Saturday 22 September.
Edgley is continuing to rebuild his squad and hopes to sign three more players early next week.
