Five-star Poachers hit PNS with goal blitz

Boston Town swept aside Peterborough Northern Star with a scintillating display.

The visitors got off to a blistering start, with Fraser Bayliss having an early chance and then having a good shout for a penalty after being bundled over.

But Bayliss was on the scoresheet after just five minutes as he rifled home for his first goal since early September.

He then force a good save from Star keeper Simon Dalton before doubling his tally after 27 minutes on the counter-attack.

Nicky Frost and Aaron Eyett also went close before the break - but it was in the final 20 minutes that the Poachers really wreaked havoc.

Will Britton snaffled his 13th goal of the season to make it 3-0 - and that seemed to really knock the stuffing out of Star, who had started the game four places and six points above Boston.

Eyett tucked away a rebound after 81 minutes for 4-0 and then helped himself to his 10th goal of the campaign in the final minute.
