Another derby defeat

Boston Town's relegation plight deepened as they suffered a second loss to Deeping inside five days.

Rothwell Corinthians picked up a draw to leave the Poachers second from bottom, a point from safety.

Deeping took control of the game with two quickfire goals midway through the first half, the first a controversial penalty given in the aftermath of a challenge by Travis Portas on Dan Jarvis as he chased down a backpass.

Henry Dunn converted that spotkick and later hit the bar with a second one but two more goals by Jarvis left the visitors 3-0 up at the break.

To make matters worse, Boston right back Vlad Lytvynets - who hasn't missed a game since September - was sent off on the walk back to the dressing rooms at half-time.

Rangers added a fourth against the ten men in the second half to maintain their titel challenge.

Town: Portas, Lytvynets, Tate, Moulds, Cunliffe, Pinner, Horton, Potts, Nichols (Fenton), Chipamaunga, Jaquite (Raducan)
