Vital win for Poachers
Liam Tunstall struck a 57th minute winner as Boston Town earned a priceless victory.
The win was enough to lift them out of the bottom two, moving above Rothwell Corinthians fter they lost 3-2 at home to Pinchbeck.
Bottom markers Wellingborough Whitworth made things tighter than ever in the relegation zone as they beat Kirby Muxloe.
Poachers manager Gary Edgley was delighted with the victory, which saw new signings Liam Harris and Luke Hollingworth make their debuts.
He said: “I have been in that good a mood today, my wife actually thinks I have won the lottery and not told her!
“The lads were excellent yesterday, and we finally got a result that our performance deserved. I stressed to the lads before the game that far too many times this season we have put in a brilliant performance but not had the result to go with it. Yesterday was very different - anybody who was at the game saw that there should have only been one winner with the way we played."
