RIP Don and Colin RIP Don and Colin

Boston Town would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of both Colin Treharne and Don Robinson.

Lincoln City announced the death of their former goalkeeper Colin today.

He also played for Boston FC in the Midland League in 1971-72, just as Bill Curry was starting to put together a title-winning side. He played with the likes of Dennis Reeson, Brian Stone, Dave Horsfield and Brian Clifton.

His loss follows similar sad news about Don Robinson, who was a familiar figure at Tattershall Road as trainer under Bob Don-Duncan during one of the club's most successful periods. Don was also with Boston United and went to Wembley with them in 1985.
