Another clean sheet for the Poachers
Tiago Nassunculo's hat-trick in the 6-0 hammering of Whitworth yesterday was the first by a Boston Town player since Cameron Johnson scored all three goals in a 3-2 win at home to Sleaford last May.
But perhaps the most impressive aspect of yesterday's win was that it was a third consecutive clean sheet.
The last time they managed that was as long ago as September 2012.
And you have to go even further back - to April 2010 - for the last time Boston managed three successive league wins without conceding a goal.
Ollie Pinner and Lori Borbely were still playing back then - along with likes of Gary Bull, Paul Goodhand, Jon Rowan and Mark Foster!
With Valentine's Day only a few days away, Poachers fans are loving the fact that their side have conceded just one goal since Boxing Day. The upturn in defensive form coincides with the arrival of Liam Harris and Kyle Watkins, who have yet to taste defeat.
And having won 1-0 at Northampon ON Chenecks in their previous fixture, yesterday's result also saw the Poachers register back-to-back away victories for the first time since November 2017.
