Boston Town have been given a major boardroom boost with the appointment of experienced accountant Bill Cooper as a new director.
His arrival is something of a coup for the club.
Chairman Mick Vines said he was thrilled to have Bill's extensive business acumen and footballing knowledge at the DWB Stadium.
Bill's professional career started at one of the "Big 6" accountancy firms in Liverpool. He has since worked in a variety of businesses in various sectors, including transport, business machines and the legal profession, including a stint overseas with BBC World Service on Ascension Island!
He started his own accountancy practice in the North West in 2015 and this continues to grow.
On a personal note, Bill is a keen quizzer and has appeared on TV on Soccer Brain 2000 and Eggheads. His association with the Poachers is long standing and he has followed them keenly from a distance for over 20 years.
