Boston Town head to Belper this weekend for the first time in 16 years.
The Poachers used to be in the same league as Belper Town for nearly 20 years – but this time it’s Belper United who will be the hosts.
United currently play at Belper Town’s Christchurch Meadow ground.
Last time we were there was for an FA Cup tie in 2006, when an equaliser by Lori Borbely earned a replay.
Older fans might also have less fond memories of Christchurch Meadow = as the scene of a record 10-0 defeat in 1982.
Martyn Bunce’s side will be looking for their first win of 2022-23. The Poachers are unbeaten in their last 5 league games, stretching back to the end of last season – but the last 4 have been draws.
