George and Flynn join

Boston Town have bolstered their squad with two new signings.

George Hobbins and Flynn Slater could both play tomorrow at home to league leaders Loughborough Students.

Marytn Bunce is delighted to have captured midfielder Hobbins, who has been a regular starter for Skegness Town over the past two seasons.

Bunce said: “I’ve worked with George before and he will definitely bring competition and quality to the group. He will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game.”

Hobbins has had two previous spells at the Mortgages For You Stadium. Before that, he was part of Boston United’s Under 19 side that won the National League U19 Alliance Division H title in 2016-17 alongside current Poachers Liam Adams and Jordan Tate.

Bunce added: “Flynn’s a young boy who’s been doing well with the Boston United youth team. He shows a great attitude to learn and obviously as a club it’s important we give this type of young player the opportunity to step into senior football when we can.”

Town’s squad had been stretched in recent weeks – and they still won’t be a full strength tomorrow.

Liam Adams is suspended and Harry Limb still injured but Lee Beeson will be available again.
Kick off at the Mortgages For You Stadium is 3pm.
