On the road to Heanor

Boston Town’s run of tough matches continues as they head to Heanor Town at the weekend.

Martyn Bunce’s side will be looking for their first win against the Lions since 1991.

The Poachers have failed to beat the Derbyshire club in any of their previous 6 meetings. They managed a creditable 0-0 draw at the Manor Ground last season but were on the wrong end of a 4-0 thumping at the Mortgages For You Stadium.

Last time Boston won away at Heanor was in 1989 when there was a Nuttell on the scoresheet – Jordan’s dad Micky registering his first goal for the club as a 20-year-old that afternoon.
