It’s been 14 years since Boston Town last appeared in a cup final.
That was when they beat Winterton Rangers 2-0 in the Lincs Senior Trophy on a memorable night at Lincoln City’s Sincil Bank stadium in 2009.

The Poachers reached the final again 11 years later under Gary Edgley – only for the scheduled showpiece against Grimsby Borough to be shelved because of the first coronavirus lockdown.
They can finally put that disappointment behind them on Wednesday (1 February), when Martyn Bunce’s side travel to Brigg Town for their latest Lincs Senior Trophy semi-final.
On paper, Boston will be favourites against Step 6 side Brigg, who are currently 8th in Division One of the Northern Counties East League.
But the Zebras have already knocked out two Step 5 teams in the competition, beating both Sleaford Town and Bottesford Town on penalties.
The Poachers meanwhile have had two thumping wins in the 2022-23 Lincs Senior Trophy, thrashing Grantham Town Academy 6-0 and Winterton 4-0.
Kick-off on Wednesday as 7.45pm at the EC Surfacing Stadium.
