Mourners have paid their final respects to Boston Town stalwart Pete Massam senior.
Boston Crematorium was almost full for the funeral service.
Pete, whose widow Pam has also been involved with the club for many years, died last month at the age 75.
Many current and former players attended the service, including Dave Scotney, Nigel Vince, Derrick Nuttell, Micky Nuttell, Lori Borbely and Pete and Pam’s son Pete junior.
Club chairman Mick Vines, secretary Eddie Graves as well as Sandra and John Nuttell were also among the mourners.
Any donations in Pete’s memory can be sent to Addlesee funeral directors. Pam, Pete junior and Steve Massam would like these to go to Lincolnshire Air Ambulance and St Barnabas Hospice.
