50 up for Jordan

Congratulations to Jordan Nuttell on reaching the milestone of 50 goals for Boston Town!

He brought up his half century with a brace at Brigg Town in the Lincs Senior Trophy semi-final on Wednesday night.

Jordan becomes only the 20th player to reach that landmark in the club’s 59-year history. He’s ahead of the likes of Gary Goddard, Jamie Graham, Chris Cook and Dean Dye.

His first goal for Boston Town came as an 18-year-old in a 6-0 FA Vase win against Downham in September 2013. That was less than 2 years after his dad Micky’s final appearance for the club at the age of 43.

Micky himself scored 26 goals for the Poachers in 116 appearances, while Jordan’s uncle Derrick – currently part of the club’s coaching team – netted 14 goals in 167 appearances.
