Boston Town dug deep to defy unbeaten league leaders Loughborough Students.
Travis Portas produced some superb saves as the Poachers ended the hosts’ run of 9 consecutive home wins stretching back to the start of October.

They became the first team to prevent the Scholars from scoring in a league game this season – and only the second to come away from the University Stadium undefeated in 2022-23.
Boston’s back line were able to frustrate the free-scoring students and restrict them to few clear chances. And when Loughborough did get a sight of goal, they were kept out by Portas – who was Man of the Match last week as Martyn Bunce’s side did a similar number on second-placed Anstey Nomads.
