Boston Town’s away game at Melton Town has been called off once again because of issues with their artificial surface.
It’s the third time in 16 months we’ve had a scheduled trip there postponed because of the 3G pitch.
Our fixture there on October 2021 was called off and eventually played 4 months later.
We were due to travel there last month but it was again postponed because the pitch was deemed to be unsatisfactory.
Melton Town apologised at the time and said emergency remedial work was being carried out.
But now the rearranged game – scheduled for Tuesday 21 February – has also been called off.
We’ll update you with any further announcement on this when we get it.
