Boston Town pulled off a remarkable second half comeback to end their season on a high.
At the break, they trailed 2-0 and were down to 10 men. Jason Field was sent off for a foul that led to a penalty and the hosts’ second goal.
But veteran Lori Borbely came on as a sub for young Flynn Slater and the Poachers rampaged back into the game.
Fraser Bayliss and Jordan Nuttell scored in the space of 2 minutes to level things up. Midway through the second half, the visitors got a penalty of their own and Bayliss stepped up to register his 20th goal of the season.
That proved to be enough to earn the Poachers a 4th win from their final 5 league fixtures and finish the season on 67 points in 6th place.
