Boston Town U14s kicked off their Mid-Lincs Youth League campaign at home against newly promoted North Lindum.
The Boston team started the game slowly but once they took the lead they relaxed and started to pass the ball around and created a lot of chances. The weather played a part but the team continued to move the ball around and scored a few more goals to finish with a 5-0 win.
Parents’ man of the match went to Sam Jackson, who was composed on the ball, making some brilliant passes and scoring a goal. Coaches’ man of the match went to Logan Bray, who scored 2 and caused havoc down the right side of the North Lindum defence.
Goalscorers were: Logan Bray 2, Toby Chapman, Blake Crowfoot and Sam Jackson.
