Jordan’s on the mend

Boston Town are hoping to have striker Jordan Nuttell back from injury at the weekend.

He hasn’t played since the end of September but could be fit to face Old Stone Alleynians in the FA Vase on Saturday.

Nuttell’s return would be a massive boost for Poachers manager Martyn Bunce, who will be missing 4 other players for the tie.

He’ll be without George Hobbins and Fraser Bayliss (both suspended), Sisa Tuntulwana (cup-tied) and Harry Limb (injured).

Bunce told Lincolnsshire Non-League Radio that Nuttell had done some light training last Thursday and then had a session with physio Liam Wilson on the morning of the Newark & Sherwood match.

“He’s had no reaction to that so hopefully he can get a full session in on Thursday, we’ll put him through his paces and we’ll assess him after that,” Bunce told Darren Trapps.
