Boston Town will be hoping to maintain their excellent recent form in the Lincs Senior Trophy when they take on Pinchbeck tomorrow.
The Poachers have lost just one of their last 10 ties in the competition.
In those 4 years they’ve twice reached the final – although on the first occasion in 2020 the game was never played because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The only time they’ve been beaten in the county cup in that time was a 3-1 away quarter-final defeat at Winterton Rangers in December 2021.
Martyn Bunce’s side avenged that loss last season by thumping them 4-0 on the same ground at the same stage.
Boston Town will go into tomorrow’s quarter-final as favourites, with visitors Pinchbeck struggling at the foot of the United Counties League Premier Division North table.
However, Knights boss Lewis Thorogood knows all about cup runs, having steered them to the 4th round of the FA Vase last season.
The game against Pinchbeck kicks off at 7.45pm and will be sponsored by Lincolnshire Non-League Radio.
