Boston Town U18s enjoyed a superb win on a pitch that was very heavy on the legs,
Man of the match was Charlie Rigby, who netted 4 goals – but the whole of the front 3 had their shooting boots on. Pat Bad chipped in with 2 goals and Femmi Kisanji was also on the scoresheet,
The Boston youngsters tried to play football as they always do and their back 4 were very solid throughout.
Credit also to the hard-working midfielders who set up the goals.
The result moves the U18s up 2 places in the Lincolnshire Intermediate League South Division.
Meanwhile, the Poachers’ U14s beat their Horncastle counterparts 3-1 at The Wong.
Remarkably they’re now one of 5 sides level on points at the top of the Mid-Lincs Under 14A Youth League table.
