Season review – part 5

Jordan Tate was a double winner at Boston Town’s end of season presentation night.

Tatey, who passed 200 appearances for the club during the 2023-24 season, was named players’ player of the year.

He was also named manager’s player of the year, jointly with Liam Adams.

Travis Portas took the supporters’ player of the year award.

Luke Wilson received an award in recognition of him having played all 46 games during the season.

There were also presentations for Boston Town U18s, who ended their season with 7 wins in a row to finish 3rd in the Lincs Intermediate South League.

Lucas Chester was named supporters’ player of the year, while Fletcher Manning received an award for making the most appearances and Charlie Rigby got recognition for being top scorer.

There was also a chance to say a fond farewell to Lee Beeson, who announced he was retiring at the end of last season.

And there were also presentations to many of the volunteers who do so much work behind the scenes to make the club run smoothly.

Many thanks to Scott Bateman for the entertainment!
