Everyone at Boston Town would like to send our best wishes to Liam Adams after he made the decision to move on from the club.
From the moment he stepped on the pitch, Ado gave everything – wearing the badge with pride, passion, and a drive that inspired teammates and fans alike. Whether it was a thunderbolt from distance or a shift put in on a cold Tuesday night, he always showed up.
Ado will go down as a modern day Poachers legend. His commitment, quality, and moments of magic will live long in the memory.
He made his debut for then manager Gary Edgley in February 2022 and his first goal came in his third game – a 4-4 thriller at Quorn.
In all, Ado played 141 times for the Poachers and scored 26 goals – he was the club’s second top scorer in both 2022-23 and 2023-24.
