Boston Town’s new club shop is opening just in time for Christmas.
It’s the brainchild of Paul Miles, who also runs the new Boston Town Supporters’ Group.
The shop will open for the first time on Tuesday (11 November) when the Poachers play Harrowby United at the Mortgages For You Stadium. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
Paul said: “We’ll be selling club merchandise including scarves, beanie hats, bobble hats, pin badges, small teddy bears, pens, keyrings, drawstring bags, mugs and replica kit.”
He’s now announced the price list for what will be on sale – supporters’ group members will also get a 10% discount on anything they buy.
Paul has converted what used to be the old tea bar into the new shop.
Fans can now instead buy hot food and drinks from the new standalone snack bar that’s been opened inside the ground.
Club historian Simon Ashberry said: “It’s been quite a few years since we had a club shop, so it’s really exciting to see this open.
“Well done to Paul for coming up with this idea and making it happen. I do hope everyone supports this venture and makes it a success.
“It’s a perfect time to open because there will be lots of things on sale that would make an ideal Christmas gift.”
The following Saturday (15 November), Boston Town are hoping for a big crowd when they’re at home to United Counties League Premier North promotion rivals Sherwood Colliery. Kick-off will be 3pm.
