It’s finally been released!
We’ve finished recording the brilliant new Boston Town song ‘To Be A Poacher’ – and you can listen to an extract right here:
You can also listen to the track in full on Bandcamp, where you can download it for just £1:
All proceeds will go to the club.
The song has been written by Dave Holmes, who is originally from Boston but now lives in Spain.

He recruited one of the musicians behind the 1996 hit ‘Three Lions’ to play on the track. Paul Hemmings was a member of the Lightning Seeds when they went to number with comedians Frank Skinner and David Baddiel.
The full list of musicians playing on ‘To Be A Poacher’ is:
Amy Wilkinson: vocals, backing vocals
Kallum Smith: guitars
Paul Hemmings: guitars
Andy Sandall: guitars
Dave Holmes: bass, keyboards
Simon Ashberry: bass
Paul Miles: trombone
Lori Borbely also makes an appearance and the track even features the cheers from Boston Town’s travelling fans when Harry Limb scored in last season’s play-off semi-final at Eastwood.
Special thanks go to Phil Hardman of Northern Audio Productions and Julian Jahanpour.
Dave was inspired to write the new song by the growing amount of creative work he could see going on at the club, from podcasts to books, videos and photography.
He said: “I felt compelled to step up and chip in myself with something that, with a bit of luck, might contribute to raising the profile of the club. So I thought, how many non-league clubs can boast their own song?”
