Poachers 1, Skegness 1

These two old rivals shared the points in a tight encounter that was high on endeavour but low on clear-cut chances.

Harry Limb converted a 28th minute penalty after Luke White was hauled down.

But the visitors equalised just before the break with pretty much their first effort on target.

Skegness had the upper hand for periods after the interval but the Poachers still could have snatched all three points, with Abou Sylla forcing Askew into a scrambling save.

But a draw, played out in front of a healthy crowd of 250, was a fair result in the end.

Watch Limbo’s penalty:

Town: Woolley, Mucklin, Thompson, Dilley, Ford, Tate, Beeson (Borbely), Sylla, Eyett (T White), Limb, L White
