Poachers 2, Melton 0

Two late goals saw the Poachers get back to winning ways.

Tom Mucklin got the all-important breakthrough in the 85 minute, scrambling home the loose ball after a shot from a long throw was saved.

Travis Portas, back in the side

Sub Pharrell Waite then made it 2-0 with a minute of normal time left.

In a game of few chances, Harry Limb had come closest for the hosts in the first half with a goalbound lob that was brilliantly cleared off the line.

Travis Portas will be delighted to have registered a clean sheet on his return to the side. It was his first appearance since October.

Town: Portas, Dilley, Thompson, Ofushine, Ford, Mucklin, Beeson, Bayliss, Reynolds, Limb, L White; subs: Waite, Borbely, Adams, T White, Woolley
