Boston Town delivered one of their most pleasing performances of recent weeks – but it wasn’t enough to derail the Students’ juggernaut.
Tom Mucklin gave the visitors the lead after 10 minutes which they held onto until the break with an impressive display.
But Loughborough struck twice in the second half to claim the points – the winner agonisingly squirming over the line after coming down off the underside of the bar.
