Martyn Bunce has praised outgoing manager Gary Edgley as he prepares to take over as manager next season.
Current boss Edgley steps down at the end of the season, having lifted the Poachers from strugglers when he took over in 2018 to a team competing in the upper echelons of the United Counties League Premier Division North.
Bunce told Lincolnshire World: “Gary, on the pitch, has done a great job turning things around and attracting some good players.

“Also off the pitch the clubhouse is fantastic. Speaking to the chairman (Mick Vines), some of the plans they’ve got going forward sound really exciting.
“It’s a club looking to establish itself as a top UCL club again.”
Bunce has confirmed that current assistant manager Lori Borbely will remain part of his coaching team.
“It’s a great opportunity and the more I chat with Lori and the chairman the more excited I get about the club,” he added.
“The timing’s good. There are good people at the club.”
