Squad takes shape

Supporters will have another chance tonight to see how Boston Town’s squad is shaping up for 2022-23.

As well as new signings such as Luke Wilson and Layton Maddison, many of the players who made last season such a success have agreed to stay on.

These include familiar faces Tom Mucklin, who made a big impact after joining the club last September, long-serving Richard Ford and 2021-22 top scorer Harry Limb.

Among the other new arrivals is 21-year-old centre forward or winger Marshall Young, who’s previously played for Boston United and Fishtoft.

Manager Martyn Bunce said: “He’s a great prospect and one to watch this year, stepping up from local football.”

Watch out also for the return of fan favourites such as Travis Portas, Jordan Tate, Bailey Dilley, Lee Beeson, Fraser Bayliss – and more new additions.

Kick-off against Boston United is 7.45pm at the Mortgages For You Stadium.
