Well done to Marshall Young on being Boston Town’s only ever-present in 2022-23!
He appeared in every single one of our 48 games in all competitions throughout the season.
Marshall started 35 games and came on as s sub 13 times. Next best were Luke Wilson with 46 appearances and Liam Adams with 45.

A further 8 players made more than 40 appearances – Richard Ford, Jordan Tate, Travis Portas, Fraser Bayliss, Tom Mucklin, Layton Maddison, Lee Beeson and Jordan Nuttell – showing the strong core of Martyn Bunce’s squad during the campaign.
A special word also to the ageless Lori Borbely, who added a further 8 apperances to his tally as well as coaching and director duties. That brings his total to 489 since he made his Poachers debut in 2006-07 – second only to Lee Rippin in the club’s history.
Richard has also moved up to 289 appearances, overtaking Dennis Reeson, Mark Foster, Mick Daley and Jason Vaughan this season. He’s now within sight of becoming only the 15th player in the club’s history to reach 300 appearances and the first since Ollie Pinner in 2018-19.
