Boston Town will welcome a group of charity walkers to the Mortgages For You Stadium this week.
The project management team behind Boston’s new community diagnostic centre will tackle the first leg of the 55-mile walk on Friday (2 October).
They’re due to arrive at the Poachers’ ground in the early evening, having trekked all the way from Skegness.
Boston Town chairman Mick Vines aims to join the walkers for the last part of their journey.
Poachers supporters are invited to come and greet the charity walkers at the ground, which will also stage a junior football tournament to mark the occasion.
The charity walk aims to raise £30,000 to improve healthcare for patients in Lincolnshire.
The team from United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and MTX and Day Project Management will complete the second led of their walk on Saturday (3 October), finishing at Lincoln Community Diagnostic Centre.
