Boston Town supporters are invited to welcome a group of charity walkers when they arrive at the Mortgages For You Stadium on Friday (2 October).
The project management team behind Boston’s new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) are walking over two days from Skegness CDC to the CDC at Lincoln via Boston – a total of 55 miles.
Boston Town’s ground will be open from 5pm on Friday, when a junior tournament will take place. The walkers are expected to arrive between 6.30pm and 7pm.

The challenge aims to raise £30,000, half of which will be used to enhance treatment and support for breast cancer patients receiving care in Lincolnshire.
One of those taking part is Donna Baxter, who works in project management with United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULTH) and is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer herself.
Donna, 44, said: “Early diagnosis made all the difference for me,” she said. “If sharing my experience encourages one person to get checked or support the fundraising effort, then that will be a wonderful outcome.”
