It’s all over and Boston Town lose a second successive away game. No reason to feel despondent though – the Poachers slip one place to 7th place, still a very satisfactory position to be in after 13 games.
90 mins – Three minutes of stoppage time.
89 mins – Spoke to soon again! Ted Gibbons goes into the ref’s book.
87 mins – Caine Elliott is the second Nuneaton player to be booked. No yellow cards for Boston today.
81 mins – Siddons on for Smith as the Poachers press for an equaliser.
75 mins – Spoke too soon – Shilton heads home to put the home side ahead.
73 mins – Little more than quarter of an hour of normal time left and there’s no great sign of the deadlock being broken.
64 mins – First sub of the game for Boston Town sees Zaluzinskis replace goalscorer Munton.
An hour gone and still 1-1 – the Poachers are moving up to 5th in the table as things stand.
Crowd tonight is 452 – not bad for a Tuesday night when England are on the box (2-0 up against Czechia, by the way).
Back underway after the break.
And that’s the interval.
32 minutes – Stretton levels for the hosts from a short corner routine.
26 minutes – CLOSE AGAIN! This time Van Lier’s shot is palmed away! 0-1.
19 minutes – CLOSE! Mhamdi can’t get the ball out his feet and it stumbles out for a goal kick! Still 0-1.
That’s the first time we’ve scored the opening goal of the game since… last time we played on this ground! That was last month when we beat Bedworth 2-0.
10 minutes – GOAL! Great free kick from Munton! Superb work from Van Lier to win the free kick.
We’re underway here at The Oval.
Here’s how the Poachers line up as we take on Nuneaton Town at Bedworth United.

The Oval has been a lucky ground for Boston Town this year. We won there in April against Nuneaton to lift the United Counties League Champions Cup and then beat Bedworth on the same ground last month in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division.
Both games finished 2-0. Check back here later to see is we can make it three wins in a row there. Kick-off is 7.45pm
