Abou Sylla headed home the winner as Boston Town continued their fine form away from home. He struck from a corner in the 58th minute to bring home all three points from Eastwood’s artificial pitch. The 1-0 win moved the Poachers up to 4th in the United Counties League Premier North table, with Heather StContinue reading “Eastwood 0, Poachers 1”

Barton 1, Poachers 1 (2-4 on pens)
Kuwsi Ofushine held his nerve to send Boston Town through to the 2nd round of the Lincs Senior Trophy in a penalty shootout. Ross Woolley saved two of Barton Town’s efforts to set up the win. But the manner of the performance was heartening as the Poachers more than held their own against opponents who boasted anContinue reading “Poachers 0, Hanley 1”
Skegness 2, Poachers 2
The returning Fraser Bayliss salvaged a point as Boston Town stretched their unbeaten run to eight games. Harry Limb gave them the perfect start against their coastal rivals when he netted after just three minutes. 100 up for Travis
Congratulations to Travis Portas on achieving the milestone of 100 appearances for Boston Town. Only seven other goalkeepers have previously reached the landmark in the club’s 57-year history. Trav made his debut for the Poachers in October 2018, soon after Gary Edgley took over as manager. Since then he’s been a model of consistency, missingContinue reading “100 up for Travis”
