Two first half goals were enough to earn Boston Town a first win of 2022.
First, Harry Limb powered home a header from a Lee Beeson cross and then Luke White looped home a second after a Jordan Tate effort came back off the bar.

Poachers boss Gary Edgley had to re-shuffle his pack when Kuwsi Ofushine was injured in the warm-up – but his side played with fluency, particularly in the first half.
Beeson also struck the bar in the first half, with Limb then hitting the post after the interval.
When Newark pulled a goal back after 77 minutes, it looked briefly like the visitors might fight back – but the Poachers dug in, marshalled by Man of the Match Duran Reynolds.
